Notable difference in design between lower and upper half of main field. Presence of a human figure together with a scattering of stars and small diamond-shaped secondary 'guls' in the lower half suggests that the weaver might have had a story to tell, or that perhaps there were two weavers. The rug has a serendipitous and playful charm.
