NOTES

The piece is crisply drawn, finely woven; lovely design and colour combinations. The compound, rectilinear main border is strong and bold enough to contain the energy of the centre field. The detailing is meticulous: note the birds balanced on either side of the palmettes in the sharply delineated  lattice design in the central 'medallion'.
